Pre-Care

To ensure a safe and comfortable ear piercing:

Ensure that you have eaten within 1 hour before your appointment to avoid dizziness or feeling faint.
Avoid alcohol, recreational drugs, and excessive caffeine for 24 hours prior.
Keep the area clean and free of lotions, oils, or makeup.
Tie back long hair for your ear piercing.
Bring valid ID; minors must have a parent or guardian present.

If you are unwell or have skin irritation at the piercing site, please contact us to reschedule. Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth procedure and healthy healing.

Post-Care

Proper aftercare is essential for healing and preventing infection:

Wash hands thoroughly before touching your piercing.
Clean twice daily with a saline solution.
Do not use alcohol, peroxide, or other harsh products as these can irritate the piercing and slow healing.
Avoid touching or twisting your jewelry unnecessarily.
Keep the area dry and protected; avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, or open water during healing.
Avoid sleeping on a fresh piercing to avoid pressure and irritation.
Follow jewelry guidance: do not remove or downsize until advised.
Watch for signs of infection (redness, swelling, pain, or discharge) and contact us if concerns arise.
Be patient with healing times. Some piercings can take months to heal.
